Instructions for remodeling
Instructions for french nail tips
Apply a thin layer of your chosen French or color gel to the tip of the nail (it doesn't have to be opaque yet) and cure for 15-20 seconds. Now the second layer of French or color is applied, creating a beautiful white or colored French tip. Please do not remove the sweat layer but continue working from step 14.
natural nail reinforcement
If you don't want to lengthen your fingernails (without nail tips) but only strengthen them, then step 5-8 can be omitted. Proceed with all further steps as described.
Filling in the nail modelling
When filling in gel nails, first file the transition of the mature gel nail flat and remove any lift, then carefully file any color, french or pattern, then continue from step 9.
Hints
UV gels must always be cured in a UV light curing device. Between the different work steps, always make sure that the gel jars are not standing directly on the light-curing device, otherwise they will harden in the jar. Make sure that no sunlight shines into the rooms or onto the workplace. Furthermore, you should not work outdoors.
Instructions for remodeling
- Wash hands thoroughly and dry well before starting. Remove nails from nail polish if necessary.
- Use a spatula or rosewood stick (broad side, not the tip) to gently loosen and push back cuticles.
- Shorten fingernails with a file and file them into an oval shape (natural nails should be shortened so that a maximum of 2mm protrudes).
- Roughen the natural nail carefully with a file or with a buffer until there is no more shine on the nail. Remove all dust from the nail with a nail brush or dusting brush. Please note that you no longer touch the roughened nail with your bare fingers.
- Determine tip size. Please note that the tip notch fits exactly on the natural nail. The tips should line up exactly with the sides of the nail. It is better to use a larger tip and file it slightly narrower on the sides than a tip that is too small.
- Now stick on the tip with the tip glue. Apply tip glue to the tip notch.
- Note: Then hold the tip down so that the tip adhesive does not run over the entire tip or onto your fingers. The tip must now be placed with the notch on the fingernail in such a way that the notch ends directly with the natural nail. Make sure that no air bubbles form under the tip adhesive surface. If this happens, please carefully file the tip off again. (possibly use a tip remover)
- Determine the length of the nails and use the cutter to shorten the tips and file them into the desired shape.
- File and roughen the tip carefully until it is no longer shiny. File the transition from tip support and natural nail until it is no longer visible. Then remove all dust from the nail with a nail brush or dust brush. Again, please ensure that you no longer touch the roughened nail with your fingers.
- The next step is to use the primer. Please apply primer sparingly to the natural nail and allow to dry briefly. Please make sure that the primer does not get on the cuticles.
- Now the 1st layer is applied (use UV adhesive gel or UV 1-phase gel)
- Apply a thin layer of UV primer gel or 1-phase gel to the entire nail with the gel brush. Please make sure that nothing runs into the edge of the nail. If gel has run into the edge of the nail, carefully remove the gel with a rosewood stick (pointed side). For beginners it makes sense to only apply gel to one finger at a time and then cure briefly in the UV/LED light curing device and then repeat finger by finger. When all fingers are done, please cure completely for 2 minutes. Now repeat the second hand step by step. Important: Do not remove the sweat layer! For French tips, please read the instructions for "French nails"
- After curing, the second layer is applied with the UV building gel or 1-phase gel. Put a small amount directly into the middle of the nail with the gel brush and spread it without applying pressure with the gel brush so that you achieve a beautifully curved nail shape. The highest point should be in the middle of the nail. Please make sure that nothing runs into the edge of the nail. Here, too, it makes sense for beginners to only apply gel to one finger at a time and then briefly cure it in the LED/UV light curing device and then repeat finger by finger. When all fingers are done, please cure completely for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Now carefully remove the sweat layer! Now moisten a cellette with cleaner and carefully wipe off the layer of sweat that has formed so that there is no longer a sticky spot. Now repeat the second hand step by step.
- Now file the nail plate with the file (fine-grain side) and smooth out any unevenness so that the desired nail shape is created. Then matt the nail with the buffer and remove filing marks. The nail must no longer shine.
- Now apply the sealing gel to the third and last layer. Apply the sealing gel thinly from the edge of the nail bed to the tip of the nail. Please make sure that nothing runs into the edge of the nail. Here, too, it is advisable for beginners to work finger by finger individually. Then completely harden all fingers for 2 minutes.
- Here, too, a layer of sweat develops, which should also be carefully removed.
- Now check the nails on the sides for gel residues and file them away carefully if necessary.
- Apply some nail oil to the cuticles and massage in.
