Before you start, remove any nail polish with nail polish remover. The hands to be treated must then be thoroughly cleaned. Now the hands should be disinfected. Commercial hand disinfectants can be used for this. Cleanliness is the top priority for nail modeling.
1. First, use the cuticle tool to gently remove the cuticles. Then use the rosewood stick to gently push back the cuticles so you can continue working on the nail. For protruding cuticles you can use e.g. a cuticle nipper.
2. Now file the natural nail into shape and then gently matt the nail with the sanding block. This removes the layer of fat. Be careful not to over file the nail. The nail should no longer shine. Pay particular attention to this with new sanding blocks or files!
3. Now apply the primer to the natural nail area and allow the primer to air dry for about 30 seconds.
4. Now prepare the Dappen Dish glass by filling it with the liquid.
Caution! The liquid must always be clear, otherwise the nails can become cloudy.
5. Now dip your brush into the Dappen Dish glass and then wipe it off lightly. Dip the brush into the acrylic powder until a small ball forms at the tip of the brush. If the bead is shiny, it's ready for processing. Distribute it carefully on the nail surface and do not work into the nail edges, otherwise the acrylic can lift faster. Repeat the process (usually 3-5 times) until you have finished the entire nail. Then let it harden for a few minutes.
6. Now you're almost there. Use a file to even out minor bumps and file everything into shape. Then polish the modeling with the polishing block, starting with the coarsest side and then getting finer and finer.
7. You are basically done now. However, it is recommended to apply a protective layer to extend the durability. Well suited for this is, for example, our sun blocker (yellow protection) or our top coat. Before applying, make sure that the nails are free of filing dust.
8. Finally, it is advisable to take some nail oil. Distribute it on the cuticles and massage it in slowly. If desired, put some hand cream on your hands or those of the customer to make everything soft and smooth. This is how you round off the nail modeling and have a wonderful overall result!
Please clean your work equipment thoroughly afterwards. This is especially true for the brush. Otherwise, this can no longer be used for the next modelling.
